Relevance Engineering Services Uganda Limited provides complete power-distribution and infrastructure solutions, from substations and transformers to distribution lines, customer connections and telecom energy systems. Substation Setup, Design and Improvement
We design, construct, commission and upgrade electrical substations for commercial, industrial, institutional and utility applications. Our work covers site assessment, load studies, equipment selection, protection and control, earthing, civil coordination, switchgear, RMUs and cable terminations. Existing substations can be assessed and improved to increase safety, capacity, reliability and compliance with operational requirements.
Distribution-Line Construction and Maintenance
We construct, commission, maintain and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines. Services include route assessment, pole installation, conductor stringing, insulator and hardware installation, trenching, underground cabling, jointing, testing and fault repair. Our team plans each project to provide safe clearances, reliable connections and efficient delivery of power to the intended load centres.
Transformer Supply, Installation and Servicing
We supply, install, commission, service and repair distribution transformers and associated equipment. Our services include transformer sizing, foundation and plinth coordination, lifting and positioning, HV and LV terminations, oil and insulation checks, earthing, protection, testing and load verification. Preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis help reduce failures, overheating and unplanned power interruptions.
Electrical Service Connections
We provide safe service connections between the electricity-distribution network and residential, commercial, institutional or industrial premises. Work includes load assessment, cable sizing, metering provisions, service entry, protective devices, earthing, distribution-board connection, inspection and testing. Installations are organised to meet the client’s power requirements and applicable utility and safety standards.
Telecom Base-Station Infrastructure
We support the setup, design, supply, maintenance and repair of electrical and supporting infrastructure for telecom base stations. Solutions include grid and generator integration, DC power systems, rectifiers, battery banks, solar hybrid systems, distribution panels, earthing, lightning protection, equipment shelters, alarms and remote-monitoring connections. Preventive maintenance is structured to maximise uptime and protect critical communications equipment.
